From the 16th of July 2013, Emirates First class and Business class passengers will be able to enjoy complimentary chauffeur service when travelling to and from Beijing Capital Airport and Shanghai Pudong International Airport. The service is free of charge within a 60 kilometer distance.
Available vehicles include Mercedes-Benz S/E class and other options. The service can be booked online, any special travelling requirements have to be stated at least 24 hours prior to departure.
Aer Lingus is to significantly increase its transatlantic route offerings for 2014 by introducing a one-stop year round service between UK and San Francisco, a one-stop service between UK and Toronto and also increasing frequencies on Shannon – Boston and Shannon – New York.
This expansion means that the Aer Lingus long haul schedule will rise to 10 daily transatlantic services between Ireland and North America, increasing the airline’s transatlantic capacity by 24% in 2014.
The new aircraft benefits from smooth ride technology, larger windows, the latest in-flight entertainment system and is also quieter, lighter and more fuel efficient than BA’s current aircraft, all combining into a more comfortable and environmentally friendly travel experience.
Introducing Boeing 787 Dreamliner is part of BA’s £5billion investment in products and services and the airline is planning to welcome 42 Boeing 787s into its fleet in the upcoming years.
The news was announced at a spectacular launch event at Old Trafford, attended by Aeroflot’s top management as well as Members of the Manchester United squad. Both sides showed commitment and excitement about the start of their multiyear partnership, which is the first global sports sponsorship for Aeroflot.
Starting from 1s July 2013, Aeroflot will provide Manchester United with charter services on its newest long-haul Airbus and Boeing airplanes as well as advice the club on travel arrangements both for the team and officials. The partnership will also be integrated into Manchester United’s marketing channels.
Qantas is to provide extra convenience to its First and Business class customers. Passengers using the services between Australia and Los Angeles, and Australia and Dallas Fort Worth can enjoy Qantas’ complimentary Chauffeur Drive service at the beginning and end of their journey from 1st July 2013.
The service was first introduced on 31st March 2013 for customers travelling between Australia, Dubai and London and recently was extended. Chauffeur Drive can be booked through ‘Manage Your Booking’.
Emirates Airbus A380 is set to start operating on the Dubai Brisbane and Auckland route from 1st October 2013, making Brisbane Emirates’ third Australian destination to welcome the carrier.
Introducing the service will strengthen Emirates’ commitment to Queensland and Auckland passengers and increase seat capacity by 1,890 seats per week.
Emirates are to increase the number of their daily flights between Dubai and Bangkok to six services a day from 27th October 2013.
The sixth daily flight to Bangkok will be operated by Boeing 777-200ER and include 12 First class, 42 Business class and 220 Economy class seats.
