Hilton HHonors programme members can now check-in, check-out and choose their room via their smartphones thanks to the launch of Hilton Worldwide’s digital check-in service at over 4,100 properties.
Not only does the feature save customers time, but it also allows guests to add special requests and room upgrades “on the go”. Introduced earlier in July, the new service is to become available across the majority of rooms at Hilton Worldwide properties by the end of 2016.
Guests travelling to New Zealand can now enjoy a stay at the first Doubletree hotel in the country, as Hilton Worldwide increases its global portfolio with the launch of Doubletree by Hilton Queenstown located on the South Island.
Previously the Kawarau Hotel, the new Doubletree hotel offers guests a choice of 98 comfortable rooms, all featuring fully-fitted kitchenettes with an oven, microwave and fridge.
The hotel also allows customers to benefit from proximity to Queenstown International airport and to enjoy themselves at the hotel’s bar, noodle restaurant and ten-seat cinema.
Hilton Worldwide is to expand its portfolio with the launch of a new lifestyle brand designed to offer a combination of value, accessibility, comfort and positive culture. With the first hotels to open in 2015, Canopy by Hilton will be Hilton Worldwide’s 12th brand.

Guests staying on the Asian side of Istanbul can now experience the newly-opened Hilton Istanbul Kozyatagi. Set between Istanbul Ataturk International and Istanbul Sabiha Goken the Hilton Hotels & Resorts property is Hilton Worldwide’s first hotel in the area.

Hilton Worldwide increases its presence in London with the opening of its tenth Doubletree by Hilton hotel in the capital. The new Doubletree by Hilton London – Islington offers guests proximity to Angel tube station as well as a broad range of facilities both for business and leisure.
Previously Jurys Inn London Islington, the hotel currently offers 229 rooms with a new extension due to open on 01 October 2014 increasing the number of rooms to 372. Guests of the Doubletree by Hilton London – Islington can currently already take advantage of a 24-hour business centre, 300 sqm of meeting space, free wifi and a fitness centre. Hilton Worldwide expands its Dubai portfolio with the opening of the new 110-suite Doubletree by Hilton Dubai – Jumeirah Beach. The property is Hilton Worldwide’s second Doubletree hotel in Dubai and offers guests a prime location with views of the Arabian Gulf sea and The Palm Jumeirah.
