From 30 March 2016 Qatar airways will be adding Doha to Birmingham to its current services to London Heathrow, Manchester and Edinburgh. 2016 schedule will be:
Monday, Wednesday Friday and Saturday
Doha to Birmingham at 13:25, and Birmingham to Doha at 9:15
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
Doha to Birmingham at 7:30, and Birmingham to Doha at 15:00
This route will be operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliner, that includes two-cabin configurations (Business class and Economy class seats). Business travel passengers can enjoy the fully-flat bed while economy class can also benefit from 10.6 inch wide screens with latest entertainment.
This new route opens opportunities for Birmingham travellers to benefit from seamless onward connections to 152 business and leisure destinations across Qatar Airways’ global network, including Hong Kong, New Delhi, Mumbai and Bangkok.
Icelandair’s passengers travelling from London Heathrow will soon be able to enjoy the wide range of facilities available at Terminal 2, as the airline moves its operations from Terminal 1 to the Queen’s Terminal on 25 March 2015.

British Airways is to increase frequencies to Newcastle with the launch of two additional weekly flights scheduled for 03 December 2014. The flights will operate from London Heathrow’s Terminal 5 on Wednesdays and Fridays.
As of 01 September 2014, Iberia passengers will able to take advantage of a new four times weekly service between London Heathrow and Montevideo. The city will be the airline’s 16th destination in Latin America and the new flights will provide 2,300 seats per week on the route.
British Airways’ passengers travelling from London Heathrow soon will be able to enjoy more options when travelling to Amsterdam, Basle and Newcastle, as the airline is to increase the number of weekly frequencies to the destinations starting from 01 August 2014. On the same day the airline will also be making changes to the Heathrow – Kiev service, which will be reduced from 12 flights per week to daily.
As for the further changes to the British Airways’ winter schedule, the 11 times-a-week service between London Heathrow and Amman is set to become daily starting from 26 October 2014.
